Praying for Answers

A month or so ago I asked participants in the European Circles to assist with astral preparations for our autumn 2011 gatherings. Many students have already taken seminars that introduce the prayers we give to do so. Other people have not, and are now asking questions. Yes, once again students are asking questions—but, never mind. I find writing about the prayers is just one more way to express gratitude towards the Guides and Guardians invoked each time we offer the prayers. So, although I would rarely say it to questioners: thank you for speaking up.
Christine’s Potent Prayers

Many students from my European Circles are now doing prayers as part of the astral preparation for our meetings in their countries. I recently heard from a Forum member, Christine Cleobury that her prayers have resulted in certain magic. People may wonder what gives prayer its muscle. In the tribal way, there are as many answers to that as there are Spirits on the Cosmic Web or Wheel. I will limit myself to exploring just one possibility. Primarily, I want to share Christine’s mystical experience, a blessing related to her prayers. With any luck, hearing her story will keep the rest of us enthusiastically in prayer-mode.
Clarifying Terms: The Psychic Door

Many people from various Circles now use the Prayers for Psychic Healing & Release from the Protocol provided by Nancy Crossthwaite, a teacher and healer in Austin. Using the prayers, students are serving family, friends and Circle members around the world. The Protocol itself is very old and maintains a rather archaic form of English. Additionally, some specific terms brought into play may be well understood among the professionals trained in its use, but not so for those of us who are new to the tool.

Prayers are one of the best ways to endear ourselves to spirits. This is often overlooked in the modern world. Prayers can be thought of as well-worded thoughts that carry a lot of spiritual weight. The actual words gain power when repeated, and the repetition is ritualized, given at the same time each day, week or month. Such prayers are readily attended by the spirits invoked.
