In the Dakota tribe there is no word, “goodbye.” Even when loved ones go to the other side of astral veil and into the light, relationships are maintained. And at more levels of consciousness than those we are limited to while on Earth. Here, we constantly take in and process emotional, mental and physical data from inside our bodily systems. When close friends or family members die, and especially in the early part of the transition from physical form to astral/light, we also have the ability to receive and process bits of their emotions, thoughts and even remnants of their physical aches and pains. We are just learning what the ancients already understood: extending our attention to people in transition, and developing telepathic interplay between souls, does not take special skills. Instead these are common, ordinary human abilities.
